No Drying, Spot-Free Car Wash

I saw a commercial on ESPN and was wondering if this product is any good.

I know someone who works for P&G and the product is supposed to be good. The idea is that the wash (stage 1) of the product is a mild detergent and the rinse (stage 2) of the product has properties to break the static cling that happens with water on the metal which creates beading of the water. This property of the rinse creates the sheeting action and in turn prevent water spots.

I'm a Zaino guy and am anxious to see what this does. My P&G buddy says that they will still use the Zaino wash, but will use the rinse.

Any word on this? I'm also a Zaino user and would like to use this AutoDry product. Drying usually takes me a long time and this would probably cut my wash time in half!

Okay, here's more details about the product:

The wash has the anti-beading agent in it as well as the detergent. The rinse uses Pur water filters which completely eliminates any mineral deposits. My buddy's dad who works for P&G is asking the question about whether or not he can simply load the detergent part with Zaino. At this point there doesn't seem to be any reason not to, but then if you do use a different wash detergent, you don't get the sheeting action that they are claiming to be the benefit.

I'm sticking with Zaino.
