new paint treatment?

soo i got rear ended and the car will be in the shop gettin a new bumper plus paint. how should i care for this newly painted area in the next month or so? is there a period of time inwhich i should not apply any products or wash the car? suggested products to seal the paint n strengthen the clear coat? thanks in advance for the advice.

This is from a post by TOGWT . . . .

Re-painted cars usually require a cure period of 10-30 + days dependant upon paint / catalyst used.

Theres nothing you can really do but protect it. I would advise using a quality sealant on that bumper as well as everything in between the bumpers.....

Thata bull shit about not washing you car for 25 days. you can wash it but the clear is soft so dont push on the paint hard with a wash mit. you cant wax your car for 3 months because if you do you will trap the solvents in and create solvent pop

It's not bull...i just got my car repainted. Washed it 10 days later w/ my regular car washing hose and nozzle. Next day, there are tiny little bubbles in the paint and part of the car had to be repainted.
You can wash the car - just no soap and no high pressure on the water spray! take off the nozzle and just spray the water through the hose opening. Just wipe off the dirt as much as possible and be patient till the paint is totally cure - around 30 days. GL.
