I have only bought one WW towel and I don't even use it, it seems to leave the water streaking. unlike my MF towels when drying.

is there something I'm doing wrong?

just another great product from Exceldetail, always brining us new items! good stuff Patrick

Darn... I just bought some wash mits (thanks Patrick - they rule), towels, pads and polish. How long are these towels going to last? Maybe in a few weeks...my wife is going to kill me :-)

Move the towel across the surface slower and in one direction .. not back and forth. When drying my car I use 2 of them .. First one I fold in 1/2 and hold the corners and pull it across the major flat surfaces. Go a lap around the car then follow it with the second one folded in 1/4 and dry whats left doing the windows first. .

They actually get a little better with age. Once the fibers begin to beak down they soften up, and wick even better. Also, the towels absorb better when theyre damp, so take a couple swipes, flop it over, wipe some more, then your ready for action.
I rarely let mine "dry" in the dryer. I always pull them out while still slightly damp.....

The MF's should last you at least a couple years. I have had some in use for over 3 years. Let your wife use some for dusting around the house. They are also very good for face washing and cosmetic purposes. Let her have one, come back an order some more.........LOL
Seriously, I think once she has a chance to use them, she wont mind your posessing them. (You think your wife gets mad??)
Thanks for the comps on the sheepskins as well. Theres nothing like using a sheepskin to wash with......

D, Slightly softer, and identical drying ability. The only significant difference is probably the soft sewn edge (Pacific) vs the Satin edge (Monterey). Oh, plus its currently about better then 25% cheaper then the Monterey....($10.99 vs $7.99)

*****
Wait until you see the newer suede edge 16x16 microfiber..........Oh damn!!
This is, without doubt, the nicest MF I have seen to date. It combines two of my best towels into one!

that's my issue, you order something then forget to add something, and then you have to pay shipping on the few items instead of a big bulk order.

Hey I'm all for big bulk orders! That shipping dilema is my problem also. But when I order i spend about $20-30.00 for shipping. I know the feeling. Dale I will try to soften the fee for you.

Patrick ... I just got a chance to use these towels today ... it was a balmy 38F here so I washed the car.

Right off I will tell you they dry as good if not better than most the the WW towels I have and thats comparing it used on a cold day here.

Great towel .. you'll prolly see a little business from the VW forums I participate in.
