ive always been taking my car to the car wash..and always end up not satisfied...first time would like to detail at home...im new to this.. so if anyone can help...it would be nice..i would like to kno wha i need and wha steps to take when i wash & wax...waxin most important..!!..i have an 05 white premium RL...thanx...

Got some extra money to spend? Buy a UDM, it will make your detailing much easier. I'm going to buy mine soon. I got a WDP TL. Will post up pictures once I get it done in a few weeks.

 

You will find waxing is the least important part .. the most important is the prep.

 

Agreed, the prep work is THE most important step. I really do not worry about the wax/sealant step enhancing the look of the finish anymore. The car should look finished after the polishing imho.
