Must-Have Products
#2
Definitely a personal preference thing. My must-haves?
Good car wash shampoo, sheepskin mitts, two buckets, good MF towels, a good swirl remover, paint cleanser, and wax/sealant, along with the appropriate pads and applicators. I guess I can't forget the PC too. Then there's a good quick detail spray, window cleaner, leather care. A long list. Brands are very arbitrary - there are a lot of outstanding products out there.

I think this is too broad a question to ask. The list can be numerous, but the one must-have item would be the PC and pads. That would be followed by a paint cleaner, SMR and sealant/wax. You would also have to throw in MF products for application, buffing and drying.

IMO, the wax used at self service car washes doesn't offer the protection of products bought OTC. You would be better off purchasing a product like Meguiar's or Mothers. Or you could go one better and purchase online.
