Mr. Clean "no drying req'd" car wash

Anyone else seen this? It's interesting, but since it's new we have to be suspicious, right?

Mr. Clean has a new car wash product that claims no drying is needed...a filter in the sprayer even supposedly eliminates minerals to reduce/eliminate spotting.

I don't trust it. What makes it sheet/dry, etc...some chemical additive. I'd rather just use my California Water Blade to squeegee off 90% of the water and towel the last little bits.

Although the filtered water is nice.

did a search on google for it and found a post on a bmw board that said it was just de-ionized water. (apparently there is some switch from wash to rinse?). another audi owner posted that it worked great on his silver tt, very few spots. i may try it out, 30bux isn't bad for the starter kit.

The rinse switch filters the water through a PUR filter. It's the same company that makes those water filters for drinking water. The only chemicals are in the soap.
