minor minor scratch/swirls - need advice!
Hey guys,
I washed my 07 CGP TSX with ONR yesterday. Anyway, since it was so sunny out, I had the opportunity to really inspect the paint. I noticed a few small random type of swirl mark scratches, but they're VERY VERY minor, and they only show up if the sun hits them just right. Furthermore, I took my Brinkman DUAL XENON light and examined the paint, and I really can't find any swirls. However, I haven't actually polished my car out. I did have minor swirls, but I used Meguiars new Swirl -X and applied two coats of it to the car via a Megs foam applicator.
Is it possible that this product actually removed all of the swirls? The swirls in the door looked pretty nasty in direct sunlight.
Lastly, if I want to remove the last of these little scratches to reveal a flawless paint job, which product would I want to use to do so? I have a G-100 and Megs soft buff 1.0 pads - W8006 and W9006. What polish would take care of this? Should I just hit the paint again with the Swirl X and a W8006 pad?
Thanks much guys!
Jeff

Jeff, I would do an isolated area wih the Swirl X and then check your results. I dont know much about the Swirl X, nor have I figured out how swirls are removed by hand without abrasives. But thats their claim! Give it a shot Jeff!
