So a few weeks ago my cousin and I detailed a Mercedes Benz S550. Considering the owner never had it waxed before and had used a California Duster on it frequently, it was in pretty decent shape. It had light swirling and basically needed a little love. The interior looked fine at first glance, but after looking closely there was definitely room for improvement. We decided to use Leatherique Prestine Clean on the leather and it worked so well we ordered more!

Here's what was done.

Exterior:

• Car was given a good wash
• Wheels were cleaned
• Door jambs were cleaned
• Clayed
• Dried
• Polished with Menz 203
• IPA 50/50 wipe down
• Protected with Black Fire Wet Diamond
• Tires were dressed with Megs Hot Shine Tire Gel
• Wheel wells and plastics dressed with Chem Guys Bare Bones
• Windows cleaned and protected

Interior:

• All interior surfaces were cleaned and protected with Einszett Cockpit Premium and Leatherique Prestine Clean.
• Carpets and upholstery vacuumed and spot treated
• Interior glass and windows cleaned and protected

Tools used:

• Porter Cable
• Makita Rotary
• Waffle Weave towels
• Microfibers
• LC orange and white polishing pads
• Grit Guard and Bucket
• Pressure Washer
• Daytona Wheel Brush

But great job! The S class has been a dream car to me for as long as I can remember. Jade Green is one rare color. The Macadamia interior looks so nice when its clean.

Thanks guys! The Leatherique stuff is awesome! I just used it on my TL and it made it look so much better. Love the look and feel after using prestine clean.

Haha. Didn't know the Jade green was a rare color. I actually thought it was a bad color choice, but after detailing it, I liked it a lot more.

Haha it's "rare" because it is green. Like Barolo Red and Capri Blue. I like those colors, but I'd never drop 100K on a green car. 90% of Benzes are the road are black/silver/white.
