So I'm regretfully ending my relationship with my TL - actually my brother-in-law is getting it since his car was recently stolen, so at least it's staying in the family. Anyway, I was detailing the interior when I found a melted lollipop, compliments of my 3-year-old, on the interior door handle (stuck down in a corner that's hard to get to). It seems to have become a permanent fixture. I'm not sure if that part of the door is leather or vinyl?? But it is really, REALLY, stuck.

So who has some quick ideas for getting this thing out? I'm thinking of trying to melt it with a hair dryer, but I'm also thinking that would just end up being a sticky mess. He's picking up the car tomorrow....

what I would do is melt it and just clean up the mess

 

Spray it with some water to break the bond (the sugars will melt) then painstakingly remove the left overs with a water/APC saturated MF. Bet ya wish you had a
right about now dont ya??!!
