I usually try to use top notch products but with 3 cars I go through so much car wash that I usually buy off the shelf. I had been using gold class but my local wally world quit carrying it and now carries meguiars utlimate wash/wax soap in it's place. I know the protection with these is almost nil but can these wash/wax products harm anything. I believe they also carry liquid crystal which is quite a bit cheaper.

i have tried all the meguiars car wash, and i like the gold class the best...but they all work well...

A friend recommended the gold class to me. once i tried it i was hooked. great product. found some cheap at costco, don't know if they have any in your area.

i wouldn't worry about the other wash harming anything.
