Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 to clear foggy headlights

I used Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 to clear foggy headlights. Took about 10 minutes to:
- apply Meguiar's Scratch X
- use soft foam to rub with light to medium pressure
- clean it off with microfiber cloth or paper towel

Here are the results:

I hope this help those who wants very quick an easy headlights restoration.

Good job... now put on some protection on it so that they will look great for a long time. You can lay down some car wax/sealant but I do believe they sell lens specific sealants.

Unfortunately, a car wax or sealant won't give them long lasting protection. OP really needs to clearcoat them.

Not if you are applying wax/sealant on a regular basis but agreed clearcoat is the better option. However, not sure if applying clearcoat is something for the average DIY'er.

Maybe a coating is the better option for your average DIY'er.

Looks good. I will picking some up today. My headlights are like yours but they could use cleaning!

Never thought of using the scratch x. Been using the Turtle Wax lens cleaner. Looks good.

Just remember if you don't apply any type of UV protective sealant or coating than your headlights will turn back to yellow and hazy again in a matter of months.

Used the same thing on mine a few months ago. Oddly, only one of them was yellowing. Worked like a charm, and still looks good. Car doesn't get too much exposure though. Park in the garage at home and work.

i see an improvement on the headlights but they are still a little dull. if you're satisfied with them then all you need is a coating to permanently protect them from any more damage. I wax or sealant will work too but you'll have to keep applying it every couple of months. with a coating you'll only need to do it once and forget it.

One alternative if you're looking for a longer lasting solution:
