medium grade versus fine grade clay
Just a quick noob question here.
Would you use the fine grade after the medium grade, or is one treatment sufficient?
I didn't get to detail either car last year due to house selling/buying/moving and living in a hotel for 4 months, and they spent most of the last two years outdoors. Would I use the fine grade or the medium grade clay?
Thanks

A Med grade will outperform a fine grade. But it may also leave more marring then expected. Start with a light grade. If your exposed to "serious elements" within that last two years, consider a med grade. But start with the light grade. Im sure you will be content.
Has the vehicle ever been clayed?

Are you going to polish by PC afterwards anyway? If so, just correct any marring from the Medium Clay with the polishing.
