Little sunday detail w/ some Poorboys products
Finally got the chance to break out my SSR2.5 and Natty's paste wax.
Pics first, review later; I'm tired

nope, all in all, the repaint was pretty shitty (by my standards). But I can't complain considering what I paid. It definately could use a good sanding.

It was a joke. I was referring to the thread where Katana proves how good his wax is but them acknowledges that his car was just repainted.
Car looks awesome.

It's funny Eric thinks one of the best waxes is Meguiars Gold Class
BTW CLpower ur car looks sick as usual nice to see some new pics, i was sick of those old ones. Did you apply the SSR by hand? And Is it just the picture or is the back bumper a little more faded, then the rest? Looks nice though..

back bumper is faded, as I said, the paint job isn't great, there are a lot of blemishes if you get up close and look at it.
Everything was applied w/ a PC, I put the SSR2.5 on at a little over the 5 setting.
Overall I really liked the 2.5, esp. since it breaks down quicker then #83. I'm not sure if I like it better though, but it was fun to use. I'll have to try 83 again soon and do a side by side (after all, I do have a fucking GALLON of #83 )
I really really like the natty's paste wax. The reflection isn't unreal, but it makes the color jump (and color is more important to me then refletion ever will be). It was a bitch to remove though, I really had to scrub hard (and in reality,it wasn't that bad, it was pretty easy compared to some things i've tried, but it wasn't as easy as say zaino to remove)

hmm, I don't remember. If anything they are hyper-white not blue. I think I put some in like 5 years ago, but then again. I thought I had taken them out

looks good man, i am looking to get the poorboy swirl removers also (since i can work in the sun).
questions for you, did you use a a green propel pad or something else? also, you didn't get any hazing with just the ssr2.5? i was thinking about using ssr2.5, then ssr1 (with green propel pads).

I used an orange LC pad. Patrick from excel was gonna send me some propels but he hasn't. I've only used the blue and black ones. I've heard nothing but good news about them though (green and other colors).
I know how to work product pretty good and didn't experience any hazing from 2.5. I do experience hazing w/ #83 on occasion, but mainly on pretty soft dark paints.

engine mods are minimal now, intake, pulleys, exhaust. Use to have headers, n2o.
Paid $850 for the wheels brand new like 4 years back
