Leather seat cleaning
Over time the black leather dye from my belt has stained my leather seat. How does one get this off? Acetone? I tried 3m adhesive cleaner with minimum results. (I was too afraid of damaging the leather). I have the taupe colored leather. Thanks!!!!!!

Sorry I don't have an answer, but Acetone does NOT sound like a good idea to me.
There must be some cleaner that'll work and be less "aggressive" than Acetone. I'm sure somebody will chime in.

I would highly recommend you leave Acetone to remove your fingernail paint and not stains off your leather.
I prefer the Lexol brand leather cleaning/conditioning products. You can pick them up just about anywhere now.

The Old Grey Whistle Test
Acetone will remove paint, nail varnish (also type of paint) and will remove the top layer from a leather hide. If you have covered leather (as 99% of modern vehicles do, it will remove the polyurethane covering... in short don't use products that are not forumulated for car care as they are not suitable.........
Dye Transfer
Dye transfer is one of the toughest and rarely removable stains, try using a leather cleaner (Leatherique's Prestine Clean or Zaino Z-9 Leather Cleaner) if that does not remove the dye try 303TM Cleaner & Spot Remover or Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) sparingly to remove it.
Alternative product- Leather Stain / Ink Removers - http://www.topoftheline.com/stspre.html Use caution this is a strong product, check an inconspicuous area first

Aside from the danger to any protective layers on your TL leather surfaces, you are fighting this:
The dye(s) used in your leather belt are going to be dissolved by the same things that will dissolve the dye(s) in your leather seats. If you don't have actual color removal, you could end up just "smearing" the Belt color around.
Whatever product(s) you end up trying, proceed with caution.
