Leather Cleaners and 303 prodedure?
I'm getting ready to start cleaning and conditioning the leather in my TL.
I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good leather cleaner and conditioner that leaves a matte finish (I hate that shiny/wet look).
I bought a bottle of Mother's, but I'm afraid to use it!
Also, does anybody know how I would apply 303 to the dashboard? Should I use some type of cleaner first then apply the 303? or just wipe it down? or just dust it first?
Sorry for all the noob questions - I'm new to all of this!

The SEARCH button is your friend, as this has been discussed many times before.
Having said that, many people like the look/protection of Lexol for their TL/TSX seats. There is a Lexol cleaner and a conditioner, so depending on the condition of the leather use one or both, applied to a damp MF cloth. Apply, let sit for a few minutes to absorb (the conditioner) and then wipe down with a dry MF cloth.
As for the 303, it is one of the best out there for dash, vinyl, pleather, etc...INCLUDING leather. I actually alternate between Lexol conditioner and 303 on the leather parts of the seat. Apply with a damp MF towel/applicator, then wipe down with a dry MF. 303 does NOT leave that shiny "armor-all"ish look either, just nice and clean and protected. Don't forget about the pleather at the base of the side windows!

The Old Grey Whistle Test
Dashboard cleaning – 10:1 solution Woolite / distilled water. Ultra violet radiation (UVR) 303 Space Protecterant; Once the 303 dries wipe the excess off to reduce the gloss / reflectivity.
Leather seats- as above + leather conditioner every three months
This is like deja vu all over again( Yogi Berra)

Kyle, if your dash is clean, you just need to damp wipe it with a water dampened MF, then as Danny said, premoisten a MF with 303 and wipe. It may initially take a couple applications for the 303 to absorb/soak in.

I moisten the microfiber with distilled water maybe normal water works for you. Wring out the water, then apply a couple four sprays of the 303 to the moistened microfiber. Using 303 full strength on interior is no fun, and smells like an inflatable boat.
When the mf gets kind of dry, dip it, wring it, spray it.
