I've Got All This Stuff ....
.... Now what do I do with it?
OK, I kinda know what to do with most of it, but if you could make sure I am on the right track, I'd apprecate it.
I looked for some of the stuff that gets mad props here (UPP, 303, Eagle One Wheel Cleaner, etc), but the two stores nearby didn't have it, so everything here is Meg's unless otherwise noted.
Exterior
- Gold Class Car Wash Concentrate
- Meg's Clay Bar Kit (includes 2 small clay bars, Quick Detailer as a lubricant, Cleaner/Wax and MF Towel)
- NXT Tech Wax Paint Protectant
- Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner
- Hot Wheels Tire Gel
- Stoners Invisible Glass
- WW MF Drying Towels
- Various MF Towels
- Various MF Glass Cleaning Towels
Interior
- Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner
- Gold Class Vinyl/Rubber Protectant
- Woolite
So I figure something like this (MF Towels for all, unless noted):
1. Wheel Cleaner.
2. A good wash with the Meg's soap and dry with the WW Towels.
3. Clay as per the kit directions, except not use the Cleaner/Wax as a final layer.
4. NXT Tech Wax as PP (maybe two coats if I've got the time); Using supplied foam applicator.
5. Quick Detailer for a "wet" look.
6. Tire Gel for Gloss.
7. A bit of the Vinyl Protectant on the moldings/trim.
8. Interior clean with 10:1 Woolite
9. Leather Cleaner/Protectant on the seats/trim.
10. Vinyl Protectant on the dash and non-leather trim.
11. Stoners on all the glass.
So, are these products going to do the job and do I have the order of operations correct?
TIA.

Technically, no............preferred, yes.
Polishes need to be broken down, thus they have to be worked into the paint.
However, its night and day dfference number one, even using one, and night and day difference number two, using a Porter cable vs hand.

OK. Thanks. I understand, but don't have a PC and probably won't in the near term.
So, let me ask this one last question:
The kit instructions say to use the clay bar with the Meg's Quick Detailer as the lubricant.
The Kit also comes with a bottle of their Cleaner/Wax. The directions go on to say that after the clay treatment, to follow with a coat of their Cleaner/Wax. Is this the "polish" step?

Well, thats their kit "answer" to a polish. It really an all in one type of product, cleans the paint and provides a very minimal amount of protection. Doesnt (by definition) polish.

Thanks again for your help.
I noticed that you have the 303 and the UPP on your site. I'll keep that in mind when it's time to refresh my supplies.
