IPA wash/rinse question
Been seeing all the references lately to using a 50/50 water/IPA mixture to rinse the car before applying the sealants. I've been using a mix of distilled vinegar/distilled water to remove water spots. Does this accomplish the same thing? Is the IPA mix a better choice than the vinegar - other than the smell?
Thanks

They will both accomplish identical feats.......The vinegar is probably a little less powerful, but it does contain acetic acids, with a PH level around 2.5 or so.....Alcohol on the other hand isnt really acetic, but it does actually dissolves oils. Thus some people like using it before re-applying sealants.
They both have their faults, vinegar smells, IPA is pretty dang flammable!
