Incomplete detail

Doing a complete detail of the whole car at one time has never, and will never be an option for me. Not while I have little ones, anyway. Today I did a strip wash with CW&G, and I clayed, HC2, Poli-Seal and waxed one side of the vehicle. Now I have to do something else and can't guarantee when I'll be able to do the rest of the car. What should I do? I don't think it will be longer than say tomorrow before I can get the rest of the car done, but it's not in a garage and I know I'll have to drive it at least once.

Thoughts?

What the 'something else' you have to do?

Doesn't really matter. My life isn't compatible with a 5+ hour detail. I ended up being able to complete the drivers side before I had to take a break, and the windshield back plus clay of the hood and bumper after. I'll finish it up tomorrow as long as my pads dry.

I read it as you had to do something else to the car...

If anything, just give it a quick wash again if you're worried about contaminants before finishing up. I would.
