how to temporary tag glue residue from the window??
I had temporary tag on my back window. When I took the tag off, the residue of the glue from the tag didn't come off completely. I have tried glass cleaner, nail polish remover and wall paper remover but nothing seems to work. I tried to remove it with a razor gently but it still does not come off. I don't want to scratch it hard because I don't want to mess up the antenna wires. Not to mention, its hard to get to too. The white stuff (paper glue residue) doesn't look good at all. Is there anyone who knows how I can remove the residue stuck to the window?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You could try using some detailing clay with QD (quick detailer / clay lube) on the window. Ummmmmm,...maybe try using rubbing alcohol (standard isopropyl alcohol) and holding the cloth to the window so it can work on the glue for a while. Maybe an APC (all purpose cleaner) might do the trick???
Exceldetail or Hawhyen51 will probably have a better idea of what you could do, so wait for them to chime in.

I miss my 03 CL-S :(
Is it hard, or rubbery?
Have you tried heating the area up and then scraping? Maybe a heat gun on the opposite side of the glass to loosen it up a bit?

This is on the inside of the window????
Try repeated attempts with "tape". The adhesive on the tape will adhere to the sticky stuff and pull it off.....That works for the gummier products, but if yours is kind of dried now, your going to need to use a citrus cleaner, and a little toothbrush type of implement.
