Carbon Gray is a nice color, but probably after everytime it rains, even if did apply 2 coats of wax, I still end up wiping the car with a towel to remove the dirty spots that were caused by the rain. How often do you guys wipe or care about the external appearance of the your car?

 

I wash once a week. Usually every Sunday morning.

 

At least once a week.....it never seems to stop raining up here.

 

i wipe my car down just about daily due to the frequent rains. on nighthawk black even dust shows on clean car, so it is worth wiping down. I never need to do a big wash by keeping it clean regularly. that along with waxing on a 2004 car seems to be more than sufficient.

 

I try and wash my car once a week, as long as it doesnt rain all weekend.

 

Once every 3-4 weeks. It never rains in Southern California, but when it pours man it pours.

 

I'm fairly lazy these days, so I take it to a detailer every month for a wash. Get a full wash/wax/int job every 6 months. In between times I try to use the California car duster thing.

Admittedly I don't get it as clean as often as I would like, but I can't see using that much water every week and breaking my back.

But the TSX gets dirtier than I can stand.....so gotta wash on weekends.

I cleaned my CR-V last week, but its been like a month since I cleaned my TSX. My TSX isn't dirty, just dusty.

 

Once a week if the weather permits. If I've been driving through the rain, I leave the car outside so the rain will rinse off the road grime. Works pretty well. Park it in the garage and all the dirt just dries on the side of the car. Looks nasty on the black pearl! Blah!

 

u see my car even with that meguiers spray and wipe, u can still see the leftover after wiping it clean. its funny that i cleaned and wiped the TSX in the employee parking lot during my breaks. i wonder what people driving by thought i was doing? i don't want to wipe the car in the apt complex cause i bring too much attention to myself.

 

i wipe it down daily in front of everyone in my complex. I like a clean tsx and don't care what others are thinking.

 

Once a week. Interior every two weeks or when my daughter decides she has had enough of her teathing cookies.

 

The rain can cause some spotting, but seems like little dirt is in the rain itself. The worst part about rain is if you drive in it, the rain on the road splashes the bottom part of car and lower sides. That shows up as dirt on the car. Otherwise if car is just parked and rain falls on it, you can use a detail spray if see any spots formed once it dries.

 

I detail once a week but do a quick detail once a day, before I put my car cover on.

whenever i have time i dust my car but wash my car once a week but normally washing a
car every other day. I wash all my family members cars since i cant bare to see them ruin its finish its alot of hard work but they all look really nice .... once i can get a digicam ill post pics of all the cars being washed with meguiars gold class wax and also the gold class shampoo ...should be nice to see the difference on the colors (champagne, satin silver, nighthawk black pearl, red and another champagne) ill try to get the pic when im done washing all the cars.....looks like it may rain tonight so may be awhile

Don't yet have a TSX (within 1 week this will change), but I'm sure my answer would be the same that I give to the dentist when they ask how often I've been flossing:

"Not as often as I should."

It implies you feel guilt, that you aspire to do better, and that you understand others' concern on the issue. :-)

 

Wash it every 1-2 weeks. Once the cold weather and snow comes though, it'll only be washed like once a month.
