How much pads for detail

i was wondering which pads and how much do you guys go thru for a detail of one car?

Depends on how many steps of correction is needed...

2 step correction would be around 12 pads. I normally use a new pad every 2 panels or so.

Its always good to have more pads starting a detail because if you dont have enough it gets more time consuming because you have them to clean them often.

stiffdogg06's recommendation would be a good start
