How do you care for the leather seats?

My leather seats are showing its age, and was wondering what everyone does to protect/preserve the leather. Thanks!

They're two threads about leather in the first/second page (btw).

I use Optimum Leather and Vinyl Protectant. It is about $14 a bottle and has worked perfectly. I use it for the dashboard and leather.

I would also keep a 1:10 soap and diluted water spray in your car at all times (in the shade) and a microfiber towel. I clean it every other day (seats) and apply the Optimum every 5th day. Most wear from leather is from the dust and dirt that builds up along with the sun ofc.

I usuallt just wipe it A LOT! I'm always wiping the seats and dash with a dry microfiber. When I do have to scrub stuff off, its usually w/ just a damp microfiber.

lexol cleaner/conditioner. i use the cleaner once every couple of weeks, but the conditioner at least once a week on the driver's seat.

Seats are holding up good, but i've only had the car for 7 months and the car has 40k miles (07 TL-S).

I find armorall leather protecting wipes to work the best. Not only do they keep the leather clean it keeps the glossy look of new leather.

Basically...for 95% of leathers used in OEM cars. Use a good cleaner and protect with 303. Done.

I've said it before, but I use the Meguiars Gold Class leather cleaner/conditioner whenever I wash my car. My friends always bitch since it leaves a little residue on the seats, but as long as it keeps my leather from deteriorating, oh well. And it seems like it keeps the leather very nice as long as no one sits on the seat to wipe it off

leather isnt suppose to be glossy when its new ... it should have a matte look ...

Lexol is what I use, and it has seemed to keep the seats in good shape over a 100k miles

1. Lexol cleaner/conditioner OR
2. Zymol cleaner/conditioner

Zymol is great but needs to be left on for a while, then buffed.Love the rich, matte look and feel!!

303 Aerospace
Lexol Leather Protectant
Optimum Leather Protectant.

All three are great choices for protecting leather. And keeping it clean is a must. For keeping the leather seats from wrinkling you should also avoid sitting on the bolsters hard.
