it really depends how anal you are, if you cant stand to see even a little smudge then id stay away, but if you just like a clean car you will want to wash it a lot no matter the color and black is clearly the bes color evar.

My CL is black and its a pain in keeping it clean, even after u wash it, within a few hours it'll be dusty... I had given up cleaning my car.

Basically what he said.

If you like a black car, get a black car.

Black is the best looking color when its all clean. But its a very very high maintenance color. Very susceptible to swirls, scratches are more noticeable, and you see every speck of dirt.

put about 3 layers of zaino on it and you will be ok. Also use Meguiars professional swirl remover to remover swirls. and follow with professional show glaze. After that, all you need to do is use eagle one 'wax as u dry ' spray or meguiars quick detailer to maintain the shine. to remove dust use the 'california car duster' . my car (black) still shines after a rainy day.

It all depends how much time you have and willing to spend shining it up. =)

all i do is just use the duster before leaving my house and im all set.. dusting takes 2-3 minutes. Then on the weekends i use the sprays to upkeep the shine.

good luck

My CLS is black and it isn't terribly difficult keeping it up.

this was at 5 years old and the car had about 70K on it. Driven everyday, stored outside and I work in an industrial area. Black is easy to take care of if you know what you are doing and the car is well prepped

I will say though, the car didn't look that great in direct sunlight

black is badass... I should of got it, but Silver is very popular and I did not want to see scratches easily...

I am glad I got Silver.. dark cars are hard for me to own.. I am anal.
