how to clean off this gunk

turns out my cv boot got busted:

I try cleaning it off a few times, but it's still somewhat sticky. It looks like coolant/grease? Any solution to clean my rim?

Try formula 88 cleaner/degreaser. I use it to clean everything under the hood and undercarriage. Its to the tune of 6 bucks a gallon at Home Depot.
And for the rim, you can use that as well or Super clean wheel cleaner. Takes off heavy gunk with ease.
