hey guys I have a problem, there is shoe polish on my back window, it rained yesterday and it like sprayed onto my paint, there are just little specks on the paint and it also wont come off the back window. any ideas on how to get rid of it, all i could think of would be bug/tar remover but idk if that will work. i know you guys will know what to do! thanks

Try a paint cleaner or polish.......

Tar remover should work. Otherwise you can try claying it. If it was me, I'd try claying it first. If it doesn't work, then try the bug/tar remover (meant for cars). Finally, I'd try the paint cleaner (Meg's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner would be the easiest to get)

This happened to my son, some girls at his HS wrote all over his windows before the homecoming game a few years back using white shoe polish and when it rained it got all over his paint. I washed the hell out of the car trying to get to out and was not successful, I ended up having it detailed and it finally came out. I guess it didnt help that it was white polish on a black car. Shoe polish is nasty shit, good luck.

Goo Gone or Goof Off. Take it right off, but use it sparingly...

You can try rubbing alcohol...but I think you should try something like this to get rid of it.
