waxing windows works, and just in case your windshield is effected . . . and later your wipers skip, that would be due to wax build up.

solution: take a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol and wipe the blade. you'll be surprised.

Interesting. Does it work better than Rain X?

Just an additional note: I don't Zaino my windows, but I do wash my car regularly with Z7 ("show car wash"). Water beads on the windows even with this, but it doesn't last as long as Rain-X, especially when the wipers are actually used. Rain-X, in my experience, lasts a few weeks before needing to be replaced, but the Z7 lasts maybe three weeks, tops.

It'd be interesting to know whether the application of the actual Zaino polish lasts as long as Rain-X. I'm sure it does...

you'll get a month or so of great bead action from RainX if you also use the RainX washer fluid additive. i also add a few drops of cascade dishwasher rinse aid.

I get a full winter worth from a single application of RainX. I usually apply it in November, just before the rain season starts, and it lasts perfectly fine until next November. Ah, I think I know what you mean, yes, the very first application of RainX does not last very long (a month or two, perhaps), but subsequent applications last for ages. I used RainX on my previous car for 6 years (once a year was enough) and now I use it on the TL. Love it!

I use Zaino for glass but not Z2 or Z5 but their Z12 glass polish. It is good.

I use straight Z2 (no Z1 or ZFX) on glass and rims. Works great.
