Godzilla met its match

The owner of this red godzilla contacted me to detail his car, in the pm he expressed concern about the panels that may have been repainted. We set an appointment for this morning to look at it, and alas, the entire car minus the hood has been repainted @ one point or the other (Body work ranged from decent to crappy, lol). I started at 9am with the help of a friend and finished the car @ 5:50pm. The front wheels were washed and rinsed 3 times and the rear wheels were washed and rinsed twice. The entire wash process took about 2 1/2 hours on this one. Polishing was done through Griot's 6" DA with Megs MF system (D300 + compounding MF pads). LSP used was Prima Amigo.

Now onto the pictures:

Here is the general condition of the paint after we unleashed Megs D300 compound on it:

Most satisfying part? The owner's jaw dropped, and the word "fantastic" was used in every other sentence, lol.

Thanks, and no more pics. The sun had already gone down and I did not have sufficient light to take shots of the entire car

Do you worry about the potential damage to the environment, from all the chemicals you used?

Thanks Rev, It doesn't look at the best it should be. But for a 1 step it had dramatic improvements to the paint work's overall condition.

mrclemson, to be honest I am not "concerned", these products I used came from well known, well respected companies whose MSDS sheets can be found online. They follow the most stringent VOC Compliance regulation in the making of all their chemicals.
