is glazing needed after fixing a scratch?

After polishing out or paint touching up a scratch, is some sort of glazing really needed? Or can you just Zaino right over the spot?

I assume you used touch up paint? Well I hope you leveled it off in stages, using multiple coats and then a few thin coats of clear.......

If the touch up is the same level (finger test) approx as the rest of the paint, I wouls use a mild abrasive on it like 3M finesse it II and then Z1 and Z2....and keep zainoing! Good luck........
