Front dashboard

Looking for something safe to put on the dash to clean it but mostly protect it from uv rays and sun. Any suggestions.
I herd this was a issue because people have cracked there dashed from sun because some products clog the wholes in the dash and the pores of the dash clog and catn breath causing the cracking.

What do I use?

303 will provide the best UV protection but be aware t contains zero cleaning ability

Periodically clean using:-

(a) Iz einszett 'Plastik-Reiniger' an intensive, non-corrosive, non-acidic two-phase deep cleaner for urethane covered upholstery and vinyl trim, that removes grime build-up thoroughly and effortlessly, these chemicals restore the original texture, tactile feel and resiliency.

OR

(b) Sonax Dashboard Cleaner - silicon-free interior cleaner for all plastic parts. Reliably prevents electrostatic charges creating a dust repellent surface. Renews and maintains the matte and structured surface (soft-feeling effect) No chemical odour residue, it just leaves a pleasant, fresh scent.

Both of these products are silicon-free

(Silicon oil formulations are build-up type products which accelerate heat damage) interior cleaners for all vinyl / plastic parts reliably prevent electrostatic charges creating a dust repellent surface. The white residue sometimes found on a vinyl dashboard is the plastizers out gassing, use a cleaner as above

If your dash is really dirty you can use the Woolite solution misted on a clean M/F cloth followed by a wipe with a M/F cloth wet with clean water and rung out. Then followed by 303.

303 protects the best by the higher resin content and nothing more.

One important thing people don't mention is don't spray 303 or any other product on the dash .. mist it on a cloth and apply .. if you get it on the glass or dash gauge plastic it may be a b*tch to remove.
