First time paint correction
Hey guys, I was hoping to get some advice on doing a paint correction for the first time. I’ve read through the steps and what I need, etc etc. My concern is with the orbital I have in relation to what pads I can use. My wife bought me a 9”-10” auto spa orbital as a gift. This was before I did much research into which one to get. In looking around though there are different colored pads most paint corrections use, orange foam and a white foam pad. In looking for something for my orbital that can slip over the buffer surface with elastic sides (not just press onto the surface), I can’t seem to find much more than a yellow foam pad or a package set on amazon with microfiber/terry cloth/wool pads. So my question is are these pads ok to use to complete a paint correction? I seem limited but the type of pads I need, which are the slip ones. And these pads don’t seem to match up with the “traditional” color/type of pads used Also, if anybody has a direction on what pads to use with my orbital I would appreciate any help. I just don’t want to make the paint look any worse lol |
i used HexLogix pads the orange and White i would get 2 of each.
