First time owning a black color car.. help..

Alright, all my previous vehicles have been white.

Just purchased 2010 Mazdaspeed3 in black color last week.

Can you guys give me some good advise on keeping my car clean? Don't just say wash it alot please!

Thank you in advance!

Well how is the condition of the car currently? Is it swirled?

I can tell you what products I'd use for paint correction, however if the car doesn't need it then I can recommend a clay bar and a couple of decent waxes... and some good tips on how to clean the car regularly that'll be quick and easy.

Take it back and get white!!!
Use QD's between washes with quality microfibers, apply spray waxes after washes (at least once monthly) use a good protective sealant, and stay away from tunnel thrashers.........

A touch of OCD always helps!

You might want to read through at least the first part of this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/wash-wax-23/must-read-acura-tl-owners-complete-detailing-guide-744405/

Good luck.

oh god to your life to just keep the black clean... i vow the GS will be my last black car... the good news is that you will be able to see the most of your work go the furthest with a black car...

which reminds me, the 75oF weather on Sunday will help with my fall prep of the car...

Alright, I'm scared now.

Anyway, 2010 Mazdaspeed3 only comes out in black, blue, grey, and red.

What's QD? and tunnel thrashers?

Exceldetail, can you please recommend me some afforable detailing kit? I'm not looking to buy any fancy stuff, just some basic stuff. I just don't know what to purchase, there are so many products..

QD's are quick detailers, and tunnel thrashers or "Swirl in a whirl" (which was the contest winner several months ago), are the automated washes at the local corner gas station........
A kit I have designed for folks JUST LIKE YOURSELF.........:

Pretty much has everything you need to get you headed in the right direction............

Tunnel thrasher - noun

An automated device originally designed for the cleaning of automobiles. Generally chosen by those too uneducated or lazy to wash their cars themselves, the tunnel thrasher is responsible for paint and physical damage to vehicles. Believed to contain pure concentrated evil.

Synonyms - tunnel wash, swirl in a whirl, scuff and buff.
