film of oil on roof of the car

The car is street parked from time to time. After washing and claybaring the car, i applied wax.

As i was buffing out the wax, i noticed there would be odd streak marks that looks like some type of oil is still on the paint ("the toxic rainbow color" of coolant and oil mixed)

has anyone ever encounter this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

does it look like this (right side of the hood)?

my cousin never takes care of his car, that crap was on there damn good, wouldn't come off for jack with wax, polish or soap, found out that it was tree sap (or some other residue from a tree) from him parking under one. Turtle Wax bug and tar remover w/ tree sap remover did the trick for me, but it was a slight pain in the ass getting all that crap off.

A better way to clean a paint surface of something you are not sure of its origin – a 1:1 or stronger solution distilled water / Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or a safe solvent Stoner’s TarminatorA better way to clean a paint surface of something you are not sure of its origin - Isopropyl alcahol

For real? I just assumed it was because I know where he parks and it was only the parts that were under the tree (hood, bumper and fenders). It took like two hours of work to take it all off.

My cousin doesn't even know you need to put air in the tires, (and oddly enough he has a 140 IQ), that whole car is just a wreck. My half bro and I call it the red vibrator, because of all the shakes and noises it makes.

If you took a polish to it, it would step it up even one more notch!!
