Filling in bumper bolt "stamps"
Anyone used this stuff before to fill in the hole left by a bolt? I had a nice bolt "stamp" on my bumper when I bought the car, and I just filled it in a couple of days ago.
It mixed to something slightly thicker than I was expecting, so applying it was a pain.
It dried up fairly hard, and now I'm at the point of sanding it down. What would you guys recommend i start with? I started with some 1000 grit, but it's slow work and the paper wears down after a few strokes over the filler. If I go a lower grit, i.e. 400, I run the risk of taking off the surrounding paint.
Has anyone tried the same thing with their car? Any recommendations? I'll dig some pics up in a bit to display where it's at.

Thanks. Good call on taping around it. I already started with the 1000 grit a few days ago, and i've scratched it up a little...
I'll tape it up and get some lower grit sandpaper and have a go at it. Hopefully I can get it somewhat level and finish off the job.
