Excessive Wax Build-Up

Two weeks ago, I used Natty's Blue on my DGP 2006 TSX, and it came out great.

This past week, I was out of town and the car was in the sun most of the week. When I returned, I found that there were several spots on the car where I didn't completely remove the wax -- my fault -- that are obvious now but weren't immediately after I applied the wax.

Needless to say, those spots have now dried pretty good. I just washed the car, and some of the spots are still there. What's the best way to remove those spots of wax builld-up? Use a quick detailer? I have a bottle of Poorboy's QW+. Would that do the trick? If so, are there any tips in how to apply it? If not, what would work better?

Thanks!

Try the qd first - spritz it on in a cool area and wipe off with an mf cloth. It should wipe right off. If that doesn't do it go grab some rubbing alcohol and mix it 50:50 with water - spritz on the spot and wipe with an mf cloth. That'll should do it.

Put some wax on it. The petroleum products in the nattys will soften it up for easy removal...........

Yup. I actually did the same thing. Applied a second coat to the wife's car today and noticed a small spot that I neglected to remove last time. Doh! A bit more product on top, and both coats came off without a proplem.

Quick Detailer Question

Thanks for the tips. I re-applied the Natty's in the areas where it was needed. wiped it off and the results were excellent.

However, if that's the recommended way for taking care of this type of problem, exactly under what circumstances should a Quick Detailer, like QW+, be used?

Thanks!

For maintenance.......Under ideal conditions, quick/flash/instant detailers are to be used for only the lightest of dust issues, and fingerprints, smudges.
