and get the 'dont talk to me i know what i'm doing' look or response. Just curious, because sometimes i ll be at the car wash station in my apt complex, and i ll see some lady taking a brillo pad or the like and go to town on her car. i ll try to stop her and tell her she runs the risk of scratching it, and all she says is ' i know what i'm doing, i dont need your help'. Ok lady, just trying to make you not ruin your paint job. Or the guy that decided it'd be a good idea to clean the rims first, then use the same half torn towel on his black paint. Any of you guys ever get that?
It used to happen to me when I was younger. I'm an Eagle Scout so I used to be all about helping people, even complete strangers. As I got older I realized most people don't really give a fuck and are completely unappreciative of your help, so I've become a little more indifferent about things that happen around me.
However, when someone takes the time to be honest and try help me out, I'm always nice and always thankful. Especially at work. Even if someone takes the time to explain something to me I already know, I still hear them out.
You can always learn something from someone else.
