Dumb Zaino questions...

OK I have been using Zaino for awhile, but finally came to a conclusion today that I may not be using it correctly.

I have Z1 & Z5, and before I would always put a coat of Z1 before putting the Z5 on. I have done this religously, but I went onto Sal's site and from the instructions I was getting there (or the way I was understanding it), you don't necessarily have to use Z1 and Z5 at the same time, all the time. So can I just forego the Z1 now and just use the Z5? (saving time that I would generally haveto allow the Z1 to haze before applying the Z5??).

I know this is currently a mute point w/ the ZFX (which I plan on getting soon) because you just mix that stuff with the Z5 and your good to go for a couple of coats

Just curious about the Z1 and Z5 though.

You only need to use the Z-1 every six months or after 10 applications of Z-2/5, whichever comes first. The ZFX does take the place of the Z-1. In fact, when you get right down to it, one doesn't even need to use ZFX every time, just when applying multiple coats or a quick-drying time is needed.

And you don't let the Z-1 haze. Immediately after applying the Z-1, use the Z-2 or Z-5 and then let haze.

So bottom line, just forego
