drying time

What is a good rule of thumb for drying/curing times of car wax. My product being used right now is nxt 2.0. is there something i'm looking for in its appearence on the car, or to the touch?? I used one mf towl on the hood to take it off but I still got a little streaking(looked like lack of wax removal). I kept tuning my mf when taking off and buffing so I don't know what my problem was, and thats where my question comes from on drying/curing time.

thanks,

I don't think its your drying time .. it sounds like your applying too much .. NXT should be applied very thin. Use a yellow sponge applicator.

1 oz should do your car.

OMG!! 1 oz, crap I totally did too much....is there anything I should do at this point?? just let the car be for a few months and try the right approach next time?? Yellow Sponge Applicator, where do I buy one of these...

Put it out in the sun for several minutes. That will thin the oils out, and allow for a more thorough re-wipe. No problem. Next time just the little yellow 4" apps
Also try a little quick detailer when removing this time.

NXT comes with a purple applicator which is the same as the yellow ones.

If all else fails just redo it in a day or 2. It will clean everything up.

NXT is a lot like Megs #21 and I get 30+ cars out of the same sized bottle.

so when you say re-do it, just apply (a very thin layer) wax on the car again...I have a read a few things about a swipe test?? with running your finger over the wax..anything on this subject
