driver's side dashboard cleaning
What do people use to clean the driver's side of the dashboard? Specifically the upper rubber part near the windshield? I have a CA duster and Vinylex for the other parts and was trying to find out if people thought that Vinylex would be okay on the rubber part as well.

I keep a gallon of distilled water in my garage for this exact purpose. It has been my experience, that the dashboard is more dusty than it is dirty. So I usually moisten a microfiber towel and clean the interior with that.
I do apply 303 protectant quarterly as well, on the rubber and the vinyl.

yes it is ok to use the Vinalex on the rubber. The VinalX will leave a slight gloss finish and the 303 will leave a complete matte finish, however both are among the top in their field.
