Do I need to wax after this?

Hi guys,

Today, I noticed a few surface scratches on the side of my 07 TSX (Carbon Gray Pearl). Anyway, I had some Meguiars Scratch X 1.0 on hand, so I put a few applications of that on the scratches. It improved them drastically, but I was wondering if I have to re-wax over the areas that I used the Scratch X? It says on the directions that it will buff to reveal a brilliant shine, so I'm guessing that it won't leave that un-glossy/matte look that you get after using a compound before waxing?

Thanks much!

You don't HAVE to wax. But it doesn't hurt to wax afterwards.

its a good idea to wax the area since the compounds/abrasives in Scratch X will remove any prior coatings. As well first wipe the area down with some rubbing Alcohol because Scratch-X contains a good amount of fillers...

If i do a cutting polish, glaze, sealant, then wax....when should i use the rubbing alcohol? after the cutting polish only or after the polish and sealant?

^^After the polish. I believe the alcohol will remove your sealant.
