Detailer's Domain: Nissan GTR - Paint Correction

Sorry its been awhile since I have posted up a write up (at least for me) its been a bit hectic at the warehouse.

Believe it or not another new car fix. Its really unfortunately. Diagnosis.... an abundance of holograms, swirls, cut marks, wash marks.
Solution below:

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- 2 Step Paint correction (Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Engine Cleaned up and dressed

Great recovery!

I would be demanding a professional detail paid for by Nissan before I bought that shit. Especially considering the GT-R's price tag.

it always amazes me how you can go right into a porsch dealer, go into the show room and look at brand new cars that are all swirled up to be damned...if dealerships really cared about the cars they are selling, this is what they would do to them before delievery....
