GMC SIERRA 3500HD DENALI - LAMA - New Car/Winter Prep

The Denali - Lama (per Wonger) came up from MD, while he was visiting his in-laws during the holidays.

The Sierra needed some polishing and some areas required a little more.

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
- Wheel wells were cleaned up
- Pre Washed with W99
- Iron Cut
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- Paint Measurement
- Meguiar's DA300
- Menzerna SF4000
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step – Menzerna Power Lock
- Wheel wells were cleaned and dressed
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed

once you drive it off the lot it will be dirty ; ) however your paint will be in great shape and it will stay that way as long as you properly maintain it.

Wow, I'm really surprised too!
No comments...guess it has to be a porsche or lambo to be worthy. In actuality, this was probably a lot more work! Great job! So you used a PC rather than rotary to correct this paint?

How do you get the foam to not run off the car? I recently bought a gilmore foam gun, but the foam doesn't sit and agitate...it kinda runs off the car. Maybe it's the type of soap I'm using.

the gilmour is a great tool to throw soap on the car and speed up your process, however it won't generate a foam like one that comes out of a pressure washer.
