A great customer of mine recently picked up this FJ Cruiser and requested a new car prep.

What was done -

Exterior
- Plastic film removed
- Dealer badges and license plate covers removed
- Wheels were prepped and a coat of Prima Wheel Armour
- Tires were spritzed down with Adam's APC and dressed with Prima Nero
- Wheel wells were cleaned up and dressed
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Paint was pre cleaned - Prima Finish
- FJ was sealed with Prima Epic
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned

Interior
- Vacuumed
- Wipe down and treated
- Windows were cleaned
- Plastic film and tags removed

Very nice. My Santa Fe must have been PDI'd by the same people because it had several scuff marks I had to polish out not to mention there were some spots on the inside.

Good job ... I have a customer with one of those .. do it once a year and hate it .... Hardest one to detail becuase of the plastic ( fading ) and the roof rails .... can't hardly get your hand between them never mind the buffer.

thanks guys, yup those are tough to get around and the plastic does fade over time.

when I was on the road detailing we had a FJ for our work truck...I ordered mine without a roof rack because I knew it was a pain to get clean...

I do miss the truck...it was a great work truck.
