Detailer's Domain: BMW M3 Jerez Black

BMW M3 Jerez Black - This was a new car with I believe less than 3k on it. The car was in great shape needed light paint correction and wax. The rest was standard DD.

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with P21S Wheel Gel and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheels protected with Swissvax Autobahn
- Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu
- 2 Step Paint correction (SIP and PO85RD)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Swissvax Divine
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned

Interior Detail

- All interior surfaces cleaned and protected, including glass, and all
vinyl/plastic surfaces.
- Carpets and upholstery vacuumed.

Dan polishing the car


After polishing under halogens



Not much sun out but some afters (polishing)

I actually like the new M3 and that color looks markedly similar to NBP. Great work!

Looks great but I have a question. I am sure you told them to correct washing technique and it will help but if that car already is getting to the point you have to polish, wont it look swirled up again soon? Then you polish again but at what point is the paint too thin to do it again? 3K isn't a lot of miles

Never trust anybody who can wash a car at a dealership. The owner might not have been responsible for the initial swirling.

those were all dealer installed swirls.

the customer has the correct regiment
