Detailed: Acura rdx Polish metallic metal
2/8/09 Sunday
It was a beautiful day in hawaii for a detail, so i took advantge. i started around 9am.. Plz dont hate, cause this is my first write up and im in the stage to really understanding how all this works lol
.
Steps:
1. Rinse and soak about good 5mins, then wash the car with Optimum Car Wash then dried it with 2 Excel Waffle weave towel.
Used the 2 bucket method with Eurow Sheep Skin and Grit Guard.
2. Clay the car Zaino Clay Bar and used mixture of Optimum NRWS 1/2oz / Optimum Car Wash 1/2oz as Lub.
3. Tape the black trim and rubber
4. Now the Fun part (UDM + 1 white pad + 1 red pad + 1 black hand polishing pad)
...A)So i started fixing some mirror scratches with Optimun Polish + 5.5 white pad + UDM 6k rpm
...B)Apply Duragloss 105 + 5.5 red pad + UDM 3k rpm
...C)Apply another layer of Danase Wet Glaze with the Black hand polisher App.
5. Now time to seal the deal, apply Optimun Spray Wax
6. Vacuum and CLean/Condition leather with Zaino z-9/z-10
7. Detail my tire and the wheel well with Zaino Perfect Wheel Gloss
all in totally i spent about good 7-8hours, i only had an large Americano and Rockstar energy Drink
. I didnt feel like going up to my house, i just wanted to finish before i loose the light. but in the end it was all worth it

oh btw i wanted to thx Pat (Excel) as my main supplier/ and all the pro detailer in this board for great write-ups and advice. Because of you guys i found a great hobby and made some clients. thx again!

thx, ya seriously it was intense

not these past weeks,
it rains about few minutes then its sunny, then rain then sunny.. it did that all afternoon.. had mean waterspot
but thx and you will enjoy your new toy..
