Detail help
I live in miami and lately have gotten a bunch of tiny rock chips on the hood of my car and a view small scratches on the bottom sides, due to highway driving. What i wanted to know is if a take it to an auto detailer will they get rid of all that stuff. i called one place and he gave me a quote for inside and out of $150 but before i could ask what that would do he had to go cuz apparently these places get swamped this time a year. So I'm asking what is is exactly these auto detailers do.

Detaliers generally clean, vacuum, polish and wax/protect your vehicle thoroughly. A good detailer should also be able to take out minor scratches (ones that aren't too deep).
However, detailers generally can't fix rock chips unless you provide them with the touch-up paint and some time, as it requires the paint to dry as well as some sanding. And while they know how, a lot of them probably aren't too willing to do so because of the time factor.

Do a search on this board for a paint pen. The paint pens are excellent for rock chips IMO. I am not sure if Pinnacle makes a Paint Pen or not, but I am sure that "floridaowner" would know.

He makes me not want to buy it. In fact last time I bought wax, I didn't buy it because of his posts.

C'mon. Floridaowner's posts were hysterical. I don't want him banned, because he provides comic relief.
Pinnacle products are high quality, and the folks over at Autogeek (essentially, the Pinnacle storefront) couldn't be nicer.

That should work fine. It would be ideal to use Klasse AIO before SG, but the P21S paint cleanser should do a nice job of preping the finish either way. In any case, SG + P21S should be a great combo. I have that on my car right now, btw.

now in dallas that car needs to be stylin as well. pinnacle is overpriced to be honest. their paste wax is way overpriced at around sixty bucks. the crystal mist is an excellent product esp on nighthawk black. keep the questions coming guys- i am eager and willing to help you out.

Pinnacle does make some very nice products, but they do have their own drawbacks. #1, their products dont provide much protection since they dont last all that long, and require frequent applications. #2, they are pricey which makes #1 a bigger problem. The longevity isnt a big difference compared to other Carnauba's, but other carnauba's dont cost as much.
For my car I stick with the Klasse Twins, and for extra pop I top it with some P21S every now and then in the summer.

Their Gloss enhancer detail spray is also made for synthetics like Klasse giving the finish a little boost each time it is used. Its good stuff. YOu can pick it up here. http://www.premiumautocare.com/premi...re/fostul.html
