Guy drove 50 miles to come out
I think my asking price is too cheap
Wash with Meguire's gold class soap, 4 gallon water, 1oz optimum ONR
Dry with WW Towel
Clay with Optimum ONR & Meguires clay bar
Mixture of Optimum Polish, Compound & Four Star Medium Cut Compound ... 5 speed on yellow
Optimum Polish ... 4 speed on Orange
Optimum Poli-seal ... 4 speed on White
Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection on Red ... 3 speed on Red
ONR & One of my many waxes on the wheels
Interior;
Genuine Honda OEM interior vinyl/leather cleaner
Permaplate upholstery cleaner
2006 BLACKswirlzilla suuub
After 1 pass of compound... 90% gone
all the white specks are rock chips
Before:
After:
Theres still a few heavier scratchs that I couldn't get out through buffering, but could probably have been done through wet sanding
but for the most part, about 80% of the swirls were gone I'd say, and 80% of the medium - light swirls were gone.
Not bad for ~4.5 hrs of work

yeah, def not bad for the time you spent hows the clear on those cars?
my problem right now is i have an Agean blue pearl tl with those same kind of swirls, and i just cant get them completely out. i have a u, orange white red pads and opt compound& hyper compound. after using those i prbly get like 70% of my swirls out. i was thinking of getting something from the menzerna line, but maybe i should just try getting a yellow pad first?

I was limited on time and he was on a limited budget, so I did what I can in the time frame given. I didn't go as far as wet sanding and spot treatment since he just wanted the car to be presentable, I did this for very cheap, considering what I did.
I'd say the clear coat of the subbie a little bit harder than the Hondacuras. It seemed as though it required less work time with the mixture I did as opposed to using either straight OC or OP. I played around with a few combinations on the hood to find what worked the best, and 1/3 OC - 1/3 OP - 1/3 FS MCC worked the best.
The guy seemed very pleased with the results though . I was pretty amazed at how it came out given that only ~3.5 hours spent on the paint
I <3 Optimum ONR!!!
