Deep Gloss: 7th Gen Accord Full Polish with Dodo Supernatural!

Wash #1

Rinsed vehicle
Treated entire exterior with surf city grime destroyer reduced 1.5 / 1 in pump sprayer
Foamed with chemical guys citrus wash n gloss
Let dwell for about 5 minutes
Pressure washed off
Foamed again
2 bucket wash with chemical guys citrus wash n gloss
Pressure washed

Decontamination:
Clayed with Danase Blue Clay and optimum no rinse as clay lube

Correction Day 1

The hood has been re-sprayed and you can tell the clear is different than the rest of the vehicle by just the way it behaves.. It had more inclusions as compared to the rest of the vehicle…

Flex DA:

Hood and front fascia:

Meguiars 105 ultra cut compound with white sonus sfx pad x2
Prep Sol wipe down
Menzerna super intensive polish with white sonus sfx pad x2
Prep sol wipe down

Makita 9227:
Menzerna nano polish with blue sonus sfx pad x1
Prep sol wipe down

*Had to go to my sons soccer game so day one was not a full day*

Day 2:

Makita 9227
System One Polish with Edge double sided wool/foam pad X1
Prep Sol wipe down
3M Ultra Fina SE with blue Sonus SFX padX1
Prep Sol wipe down

Treated entire exterior with surf city grime destroyer reduced 1.5 / 1 in pump sprayer
Foamed with chemical guys citrus wash n gloss and prep sol
Let dwell
Pressure washed off
Foamed again
2 bucket wash with chemical guys citrus wash n gloss
Pressure washed
Exterior blown with leaf blower
Residual water blot dried with optimum no rinse (cut to QD strength) as drying aid

Windows:
Surf city clearly better

Gloss Enhancer:
Chemical Guys Ez-Crème

Last Step:
Supernatural Carnauba wax

All products worked as promoted.

I really liked:

Using the surf city grime destroyer as a post polish pre wash agent
adding the prep sol to the foam cannon for the post polish wash
the great leveling ability of wool
the ease of on and off of Ez-Crème
the ease of on and off off Supernatural
The great look of Supernatural

No before pictures – I had plans to go to diner and the movies and was pressed for time and I had to drive - so these pics are about 30 miles post detail.

As you will see the sun was no where to be found

Looks great.

I am curious why you used the Megs 105 and Menz SIP together. The Meg 105 is supposed to finish down very well with the new type of abrasives. Did you notice some marring after the Megs 105?

Silver loks good! With so much attention, before pics would have been sweet! How did you like the 105? I heard its a love it/hate it product as it flashes rather quickly, making it difficult to use.

Thanks,

The 105 took care of the majority of the inclusions - I was expirimenting with the 105 and flex (even though it was formulated for rotary use).

I was very happy with the results but just wanted to finish perfect so I stepped down to SIP and then nano to bring it to the next level

Thanks

I LOVE the new rims and rubber!!

I actually think my ride is smoother now as compared to the 16" stock I had... My son agrees... A tad bit more noise on surface streets as compared to the Continental Pro Contact I had before but I am sure only would notice

Thanks Patrick!

I really need to stay cognizant of taking before pictures - I used to be very good at it but I have slacked as of late...

I liked M105.. keep in mind I used it with the Flex.. I was getting about a 30 second work time.. the ambient temp was mid 60's and brezzy so I think that helped.
