Which DA Polisher do you own?

Just finished the hood and the trunk. I'm pretty happy with the HF DA. It did well.
Just gotta deal with couple of stubborn scratches that refuses to come off. Otherwise, 99% of swirls and scratches are gone!

^^careful with some of the deeper "RIDS". there is only so much you can do to get them out safely with a DA. key word is safely. you don't want to thin out your clearcoat too much. you can make them less noticeable, but if they are really deep...you may have to live with them.

as long as your hands are clean and you do it gently...
most people are afraid to even touch my car, b/c they dont' want to do anything to it. all the better.

^ you have no idea where my hands have been... lol
But I definitely see why you said this might be addictive. I really had to fight the urge to go back into my garage even tho my back was killing me.
Not to mention... this is going to get expensive. I already spent over $300 and now I want more stuff! I wanna try wet sanding... altho my car doesn't need it. haha

^ Glad to see the results. It's looking good. Don't forget those wheel wells!
I'm a big CG Barebones fan for those areas.

BTW... I do not have availability to a water hose as I live in a condo. I am using the rinseless wash method.

I usually grab a bucket of water, rinseless wash of choice with two long handle brushes.
1. I spray the fender wells with something like
Meguiar's Super Degreaser or an APC of choice. I use Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner Plus Diluted.
2. Agitate the wells with the brush.
3. Dip it in the bucket of water and continue to brush the grime off. Repeat if necessary.
4. You usually can judge to see if you can then wipe the wells with a microfiber towel. Don't plan to use this microfiber for paint duty...ever.
5. After you've wiped it clean of all dirt and grime. Spray the wells with dressing of choice.
