Curing the bumper area behind the front license plate?

Does anyone know how to cure the markings left on your front bumper because of a front plate?

I'm thinking about putting my front plate back on, but this problem really irks me. Its like a bad rectangular suntan for the car thats very difficult to cure without an orbital buffer maybe? Hand polishing with Zaino definitely isn't enough to cure it.

Any suggestions?

Yours only,

Rebel w/o a front plate.

Try Mcguires Scratch X....it removes oxidation, paint scuffs and tar. It will probably do the trick. Or...you could use light rubbing compound followed by a good buffing....worse case scenario...get the bumper wetsanded at a body shop for like $50!
