Conditioned My Seats

I have not conditioned or cleaned my seats since I got my car in Sept of last year, so I decided to condition the seats and I got the Lexol wipes.... My problem is that I wiped all the seats and the front and the rear seats look descent, but the front passenger seat is really shiny. Has anyone had this problem and also i noticed that the leather now has a lot more traction on it.... I no longer slide right into my seat, i kinda miss that. I was thinking that I may have used to much and that maybe i should wipe it down, but if I use a towel, i get cloth left on the seats.... i might just use a slightly damp towel to remove the shiny nature.... What would you guys do???

Any help is appreciated... thanks....

I had the same problem, I just used a sweatshirt, turned inside out and that took the shine off.

Thanks man... I was thinking of just using a damp cloth and then doing it, but if I use water will it remove the Lexol conditioner?? I hope not, since the product is supposed to be 'soaking' into the leather ('skin').....

I recommend the Meguiars Aloe two-step leather conditioning system. It's truly amazing and leaves your leather very clean and oh so supple.

The best I have ever used based on Lexol, Meguiars wipes, Formula 2001 wipes, and some stuff from Ikea.

And it also leaves your seats a little slick, which I personally don't like, but, would work well for you.

after trying all Meguiar's leather products, Lexol, Mothers, Black Magic, Armor All, Eagle One, Turtle wax, Connolly Hide Care, Wolfgang, Zaino, Pinnacle, Zymol Creme, - Zymol Treat is the best one for me. It does conditions very well - but make sure to follow per label instructions - warm your leather up! My driver's seat is in excellent condition, although my front passenger seat feels hard (maybe because it get most of sun). Anyway, I'm going to recondition/restore it with Leatherique in September, and post my results later on. Try Zymol Treat, you will like it! I love that banana smell!
